Unfair? Yes, unfair to the livestock

A GOS replacement gilt purchased from NC was dead within 2 months when it was crushed and suffocated to death because no shelter was provided in November on a bald hillside with no windbreak or bedding.

That's Ayrshire Farm for you.

The public makes me ill.

The farming community as a whole is disgusting me.

Nothing controversial. Nothing that rocks the boat.

Its why Michael Vick and Joe Paterno are still loyally supported.

Fucking disgusting.

  1. I don't disagree with your comment, but why does this woman make you ill for not wanting to publish a certain issue on her page? I understand that you have issues, pictures, proof of neglect/abuse with the farm where you worked, but its hardly the ONLY farm in the U.S. that is being accused of such atrocities. If everyone tried to post on her thread, she would be overwhelmed with a bunch of issues that have nothing to do with her site. Maybe there is something I don't get here in terms of context or who this woman is, but I think anyone can say what they do or don't want on their own pages without slamming them. Who are all these sites where you are trying to post anyway? Why them? Maybe it really isn't the right outlet? Some are better and more productive than others.

    1. You would have no issue selling a pig on this site to Ayrshire Farm (or similar) and finding out it was abused or neglected to death...then finding out a previous employee had issued a warning and the admin said to bad so sad let them figure it out themselves?

      That's bullshit.

  2. I find your post fucking disgusting. Why post this woman's name and picture and then bash her and say those things? She's got HER OWN page and she can manage it however she damn well pleases.

Why don't you focus on posting this stuff on YOUR OWN pages and leave others out of it. This is your cause. Other people have THEIR OWN causes. You are acting like a spoiled brat. Grow up, and quit trying to force others to believe exactly how you do. Don't throw a tantrum every time someone tells you to take your drama elsewhere. And yes, it IS drama.

    1. It's a Facebook group dedicated to the selling of healthy livestock in several states, to include VA. Its not a random woman's Facebook page.

I'll post any messages and correspondences through Facebook or private email. Transparency is key.

      Drama? Fuck you too.

    3. This isn't about class it's about a controversial subject. It's going to get get hot heated and passionate because animal abuse is not "drama' or trolling or bashing.

  3. I think posting a "sellers beware" is reasonable and I've seen posts like it in dog groups many, many times so I'm surprised it wasn't allowed. Sure, the lady can run her group how she sees fit and Meredith can express her disgust at this woman's apathy because this is her page.
