Happy Thanksgiving!

What are your plans?

  1. Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

Very quiet around here. My son is home from college so I will make all the traditional meal for he and I. One thing we like to do during the winter holidays is play board games. Tomorrow we will watch the Apple Cup, as he is going to school at WSU (they play U of W). I'm not a football fan, but I guess they are huge rivals. One side of the state versus the other.

That's about it, other than I like to (this morning) watch a Thanksgiving Day parade on TV. Brings back my childhood. ;-)

    What about you, Meredith?

  2. Just spent 2-1/2 days handing out thanksgiving dinners to 400 low income families, so my day will be quiet and not involve cooking. My parents are elderly so we're going out.

Love my job, but hate how it has ruined my holiday season.

  3. It's a quiet but beautiful day here in Kentucky. We just got back from a week's visit with son and family at Fort Polk. Love, Louisiana and all the great food. So for us it's a small dinner and giving thanks for safe travels and making memories.

  4. I forgot to respond to this yesterday..I am an American living over in The Netherlands for now so obviously they do not observe this wonderful holiday..I bought my turkey in Germany and we had ours a few weeks back on the weekend since thats what worked for us. We had a lovely meal but it's never the same when we aren't surrounded by friends and family and the general atmosphere of the holidays in the states.
