Tent, pot, knife, iPod. Because sleeping with bugs would kill my morale, pot and knife would be invaluable, and iPod would keep me sane. Implied that because this is in imagination anyway, the iPod would be able to be charged. If it couldn't, flare gun so I could do one firework on the 4th of July.
I have always thought that for me keeping my morale and awareness of the calendar would be so important. Celebrating holidays and such. Though I don't really think I'll ever be anywhere near that situation.
Tarp, rope, mirror, pot... I'd like to think I could start a fire with the mirror? I also never wear impractical shoes, so I am hoping that my footwear is already useful :-)
Yes, let's assume basic footwear. :-) Also I am thinking I can use the mirror to flash at airplanes or boats? I am optimistic I guess, because I am also assuming people are looking for me LOL
Pot, tarp, knife, and water purifier. I'd want items that had multiple uses like the first three. And the water purifier because I don't think I'd live very long without!
Tent: If I have shade and cover I can reduce my need for sunscreen and insect repellant. Pot: If I can boil water I don't need a purifier, plus I can cook food like fish, insects, fruit in it to make it safer to eat. Saw: For cutting wood for lots of different purposes. Fishing Rod: Because if it's an island, fish is a good food source and I'd like to access it as easily while keeping my energy output low, since I my diet may not be as good and give me as much energy as it should. As long as it comes with some line and hooks.
Rifle: for hunting and also shooting large fish. Tarp: for shelter and collecting water Matches; for heat, cooking, distilling water, to signal help. Those are my obvious survival choices. Now for fluff: toilet paper. RW
