Lawyer without law school

In 5 states you can become a lawyer without going to law school.

This is very interesting.

  1. Is this something you want to pursue, there are a lot of lawyers now who don"t make the big bucks. I would imagine you'd need to study and study to pass the bar

    1. I actually just want to be a judge. Being a lawyer is less appealing but I understand a necessary step.

  2. That's interesting. One of my states is listed. You can be an apprentice for four years in a law firm, then take the state's bar exam. It says that you can only practice law in this state, though. (Or possibly in other states that have an apprenticeship program, your mileage will vary.)
