Jenna should intern there.

  1. Jenna can only aspire to losing as many chickens in a day as these people!

Did you read this dipshits post from the day Jenna picked up the pigs? Are people in Washington County united in their refusal to train a border collie properly?

  2. Jenna should intern at a Kamikaze school.

  3. Sounds like they are playing farmer too. Like maybe they have bitten off a little more than they can chew? I dunno. We farm/homestead and yes, there are some days, but gosh, sounds like way too many catastrophes in one day means they are really not set up well for farming. Just my two cents worth...

  4. Jenna's been deleting again: her "bad news" logo promotion on her blog and her puppy announcement post off her FB. What is the deal here?

    1. Maybe she's catching some flack from people who donated to her for her so called "root canal". Or maybe people she owes, like her mechanic.

  5. hahaha. THESE PEOPLE LEARNED FROM JENNA. I am totally not making this up. They came to one of her work shops, then decided to move to that area to be farmers. They are all still buddies. This is hilarious.

  6. If Jenna were to intern anywhere, she would probably act as if she were a guest teacher. LOL

  7. Wowzers! Jenna's got over 100 animals and it takes her four hours a day to do chores! She's so hard working! All those animals! Wait a second.....it's mostly chickens......

75 chickens in three tractors--- would like to see a pic. 25 birds in a 4x8 space......

  8. Let's break that down:
1 pony- throw a flake of hay, carry bucket of water to it= max 5 mins.
6 sheep- bring a bucket of water, throw couple flakes of hay= max 5 mins
Rabbits (2) check/refill water, add some pellets- max 3 mins
2 goats- same as sheep for feeding, milking, probably total for all 15 mins
pigs- water, throw chow to them, 5 mins
poultry- emtpy, refill water, dump starter in 10 mins
    Dogs- 5 mins
    Cats 5 mins
Grand total 48 mins. I guarantee she is not watering twice a day- or feeding, so 48 mins morning and probably half hour at night.

  9. I had 50 sheep, a dozen chickens two dogs and a kid in school and it didn't take me 4 hours to do Miring chores.

If I was really moving I could feed and water sheep in about 20 minutes. The chickens feeder held 10 pounds of mash and filled every few days.

But, my place was set up for efficiency not stupidity.
