I don't think a dog that has bitten necessarily deserves a death sentence.
Well, that's 39 pounds of dog meat to feed man or beast. Personally I think it improves the breed to cull biters. That goes for any breed, mixed, whatever. Cull the biters, that leaves more resources for nice dogs that don't bite.
