I have a criminal complaint in the works but due to the statute of limitations reopening the criminal animal abuse case would include all the abuses.

ReplyDeleteYes the farm is frantically defending itself. I can combat everything they claim and will do so in court. I'll have you know they have deleted any.posts questioning the validity of the animals care AND have blocked all former employees that they know will speak the truth. I have evidence, they have claims.

DeleteI agree. Please read their defense. You will surely see scapegoating, minimising issues, displacing blame, off topic material (do healthy animals on a farm really negate those that are neglected and abused?!).
ReplyDeleteHow can so many veterinarians be fooled too? I know one of the vets personally who commented and she is an amazing doctor. I don't get it.
ReplyDeleteThe veterinarians are responding to requests of support, not after reviewing evidence. Very foolish on their part. For the sake of the woman's reputation please forward the Facebook page to her.

The vet that saved my dog's life and went WAY above and beyond any normal vet to help me was Anke Langenbach. She is amazing and her comment on that site really surprised me. She would never, ever, ever condone any animal abuse. I am 100% sure of that. I don't have facebook so I can't forward it, but that woman has an amazing reputation in the community. While I understand that parasites and bacteria makes animals sick - has happened to mine many times - but mine never got THAT skinny. How fast do pigs drop weight? Did they wait 2 days or 2 week or 2 months to treat them?
DeleteI know several of the vets on the post and they are all top notch. So I agree with you. Coccidia can cause rapid weight loss even when treated because the parasite damages the intestinal lining and the animal then has difficulty absorbing nutrients. This means it can take a while for weight to come back. A lot of the recovery is if the animal can handle the healing process. Just look up some articles about coccidia in swine. The weight loss can happen quickly within a few days to a week. I had to deal with it once and it is very difficult. It can also happen any time, weather is a factor, stress level (weaning), and so on. It is also everywhere in the environment and most animals have some but it can overpopulate and cause problems at that point. I am not sure the pictures shown tell the whole story especially with the level of veterinarians giving their views and saying they have been to that farm and seen the animals. Sorry just my thoughts and first hand experience with my own animals I can comment on. It may be unpopular here.

Not one single pig was seen by a veterinarian during my months at the farm. Let me repeat not ONE single pig. These pigs were either not treated at all or delayed treatment. I can show a few examples of pigs successfully treated when I was able to give timely and correct care. Their timely treatment does not negate withholding treatment and those that were treated and survived are obvious examples that these situations should not progress to life threating. I soon realized the window of opportunity to treat. They will routinely time and time again pas a that window or simply not even try.
DeleteThe fact is she does condone animal abuse ans has done so publically. Organizations and authorities do not deny abuse occurred. That is not in question. They have reviewed 100+ pages and concur that egregious abuse occured (and I believe still occurs) at Ayrshire Farm. The problem is they will not do anything about it.

DeleteI named all current large livestock employees as witnesses. They can either provide information as a witness or have criminal complaints filed against them individually.
