Btw, littles is down to 3 more prednisone pills to be taken every other day.
His back right leg is paralyzed. I have to prop him to pee. He can somewhat walk but that leg drags and the foot bends backwards.
He is alive and pain free so I'm grateful.
There's the little man!
ReplyDeleteThat is good news. There is time yet for improvement. Unless the vet has said not to, I would work that leg. You said he has deep pain sensation. I did a lot of toe pinching to get Calli's muscles to contract. She couldn't feel me doing it. I did a lot of bicycling movements with her legs, forwards and backwards, stretching them out, pushing them up to get them tightly bent. If the leg isn't being used, the muscles melt away pretty quick. Calli was always weaker on one side than the other. Go Littles!
ReplyDeleteGlad she is continuing to progress. You never know what can happen within a few more months, hope she continues to get better!
ReplyDeletePain free is wonderful! Glad you are both getting through this.
ReplyDeleteThat's good news.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear Littles is doing so well. Is it just me or does he look really wise in this picture?
ReplyDeletemonkeypigs???
ReplyDeleteI've been out of the loop here for a little while, but I'm lost there.
