It's safe to say no one wanted Commonwealth v. Lerner, Sandy recorded, not Sandy Lerner or Humane Farm Animal Care (Certified Humane) founder and director Adele Douglass. I am the only one who hired (and paid) a court reporter to record the trial.
Guess whose lawyer has already requested a copy of the transcripts from the company I hired? Adele Douglass's from Humane Farm Animal Care. Recall she perjured herself in court. I anticipate she is very nervous and already has her lawyer on the case at the expense of HFAC.
If you donate to HFAC your money not only supports animal abuse but legal fees related to perjury.
Just wait until HFAC and Ayrshire Farm are charged with fraud.

Do you have to provide the transcripts? You paid for them so they would seem to be your property....Good foresight, btw. You should look into law school, it'll be a piece of cake after all this. Or maybe it's not your cup of tea. Sure wouldn't be mine.
ReplyDeleteThey have to pay for the transcripts but I'm left with the full cost of the court reporters time during the trial. ($50 per hour first 2 hours and $25 after that). She was at the courthouse from 8:30 to 5.

I would definitely bill them for the cost of the copies per page. Can't hurt at all.

The court reporting company will make bank because others now want the information too...
No one else hired a company to record the trial, but since I did, they now want the information...specifically Humane Farm Animal Cares lawyer because the director committed perjury.
Can you post some or all of the transcript on your website? That would really get the public's attention!

DeleteAdele Douglass's lawyer ordered them immediately, potentially on the same day as trial. He was with her in the court room and at the stand while Adele was questioned. I'm buying "copies" of Humane Farm Animal Care's order from the service I paid for. Its crazy.
Only upside is they are paying $2 per page as they ordered the transcription. I'm paying for a copy of their order. Insane they charge almost $2 a page for a single black and white copy.
....I mean $2 MORE per page. They'll pay $3.something.
