Middleburg Eccentric

I successfully influenced the front page of the Middleburg Eccentric.

Cover story "Crystal Ritenour Cares for Ayrshire Farms Animals"...complete with a huge picture of her and pigs on the continued story on page 15.

I am very pleased.

Whoever is doing the damage control on the farms end is failing miserably.

Their obvious efforts are painful and doing more damage than good in the community.

  1. Seeing that I don't know the place, but have seen your pics- I have to say the article definitely painted a happy brush on things, but I have no idea how one person can over see that entire operation. I had no idea they had that many animals, especially cows.

    1. She doesn't. When I started she didn't know how many pigs were on the farm or where they were. She was 100% hands off. Pigs were on the back burner her entire time as manager!

Yes...this article does paint a lovely picture. Hello damage control! Their response is certainly encouraging. They know the entire community is talking and slowly recognizing what I am saying is credible and factual.

People are even responding to the article as a timely attempt to cover up.

  2. It's great that the general public can see through this sort of whitewashing; I hope it continues and their attempts to look good are seen as just that -- P.R. tactics! Good luck Meredith.

  3. I'm glad you see the reality of the machinations behind it, Meredith, because it's such a sickening piece of propaganda. Is the journalist, Lauren Giannini, a friend of Sandy's? If not, she didn't do her homework when she agreed to do this piece and needs to be informed that Crystal has to fill out a checklist daily for the farm manager (she is NOT in charge) to keep her in compliance and from killing the pigs since HFAC was there.

  4. (Cont') Probably the editor of the paper is a friend of Sandy's or a friend of a friend.....I hope the tide is turning as people realize those who are innocent do not need to defend themselves so loudly and prolongingly. No innocent person would trust the truth will prevail in court and not need a publicity campaign.

    2. I encourage you to send that exact statement as an email to them. In that community there is a Middleburg Life and Middleburg Eccentric paper. Ayrshire doesn't even advertise in the Middleburg Life...the Eccentric is VERY pro Sandy Lerner, the other not so much. I may get in touch with the Middleburg Life.

      Such propaganda!

  5. Please Meredith, write a comment to both newspapers! People in your area need to hear the truth from someone who's actually seen the abuse.

    1. I will. They won't publish it. THats how they roll. Ayrshire Farm may have the Middleburg Eccentric but I just filmed an interview for the nightly news.
