Jenna and the haflinger

I'll take her one minute...I'm homebound and need someone to get hay and feed for me the next?

Get a grip! This rescue needs to be warned she is unsuitable for adoption.

No way she could have provided necessary vet treatment to this sick horse...let alone feed it.

  1. Does she realize that rescue horses aren't free? And they do home checks, and inspect your fencing and shelter. Most also make you sign a contract saying that they can do future home checks without notice. They aren't in the business of giving horses to people who need rescuing.

  2. Very true. Failing to maintain her vehicle also threatens the lives of the animals she already has.

  3. Given JW's attention span, maybe she'll have moved on to her next half-wit idea by the time this horse is out of its 30-day quarantine in PA (per the rescue group's FB page). Looks like the adoption fees for these horses range from $200-750 based on the group's adoptable horses listed right now. Maybe with 30 day quarantine boarding and vet bills, they might ask higher to try and recoup some of those costs. Does she think the group is just giving the horses away for free or something? ~AM

    1. Maybe she thinks she can barter for her. And then ask them to bring her a load of hay/grain when they drop her off.
