The Full Buck Moon

Tonight is the Full Buck Moon.

Going on day 5 of no power I welcome the extra light at night.

Full moon equals less candle usage.

Excited to start seeing antlers growing!

  1. Hey -
Do you need help hauling water or doing any bigger chores given this power/water situation? I got my power back and am happy to bring anything out that way or help you do stuff that is too much to do alone. I am off work the rest of the week and weekend. I can be there in an hour. Let me know.

  2. again, thank you SO much for the offer!

do you have experience pickling or canning? i don't but am going to put my reading to the test this year and try it out. if you're interested we can have a canning afternoon one weekend in the near future when my cucumbers start producing. you can bring produce out or pick from my garden.

  3. I have zero experience canning, but I want to learn so badly. This is my first year even having a garden, so baby steps. I am stunned at what I have actually grown. My cukes are already producing, so I am sure I will have something to bring along though my crops tend to ripen in onesies and twosies versus alot at once. Either way, I would love to come hang out and experience canning. I can read from the books to you or sit back and laugh as we try something we have never done. Sounds like a perfect afternoon to be honest. Though I must experience piggies and animals - and gawk at your garden too!! I am out of town next weekend for work (July 20-21st), but then am taking a week off so I will be around that next week and weekend (28-29). If that doesnt work, I will be around the first 2 weekends in August too. Shoot me an email if you want.
