So crazy...I got a fb message from a girl I'm fb friends with but have never met. I used to be involved in the craigslist pet and animal forum which is how I "knew" her originally.
She eye spied me running. Apparently we live super close now!
I've been eyeing a manual treadmill, because once winter truly gets here I *know* I won't get outside to walk... It's sad how quickly you can get out of shape, and how long it seems to take to build back up again!
Yesterday I didn't work. I ran. I was able to sleep until noon today. I worked 4 hours this afternoon.
A "normal" schedule of 9-5 with after work activities I can't do.
Full time work I can do, with accommodations...such as flexible hours.
At Ayrshire I worked over 50 hour weeks but it was spread over 7 days and over the course of longer days. This allows for naps to recharge or sleep in. Granted at Ayrshire Eddie did all my grocery shopping, I did not have "hobbies" after work and rarely left the farm. I collapsed and tried to do it again. I was also on medication.
I'm leary about running tonight after working today and we have an early start tomorrow.
I can't keep up with normal (without medication) but can do things in bits and pieces.
Believe me, I wasn't running over the summer when I was working daily (6 hours max).
I'd be unable to run if I had to be at work at 8.
I found a primary care physician that works on a sliding scale and hope to get back on meds...and that they'll be effective after being out of my system for so long.
Good for you!

Me too, but I can only walk fast.
