She's one of those folks who seems to take an attitude about city people/non-homesteaders sometimes...looking over her blog just now, she referred to people who buy their chicken at the store as "suckers." She's come across this way before, and of course there was the infamous post where she created a story where Ol' Shep (who I think was supposed to be Jesus, the Good Shepard) rescued Jenna from a riotous, angry mob who was attacking her. It was a strange blog post, and to me it was sad that she never really realized that Jenna is actually the one that folks need to be rescued FROM. Apparently if someone is ripping off customers, passing on bad animal information and setting a bad example while saying, "do it this way!" or conning people out of their own money due to numerous invented crises (playing unfairly on their sympathies), if we say anything about it, we're picking on that person unfairly. But, you know, Ol' Shep knows the truth, of that I am confident.
Imo there is NO comparison. OFG is farming and gardening and doing her thing. She is also smart and witty. I've read her blog for years and have seen nothing inappropriate. I don't know why she has any connection with JW....could be 50 different reasons. Many of us here have some connection with JW. Also with OFG...I think the Costco membership was for tires and cat food. And I don't think she is harsh on people buying meat....she just likes her homegrown meat better than store bought. She has talked again and again that they kind of screwed up their meat planning and they may run out of homegrown and have to buy grocery store meat.
Well....anyway....I think to compare these two is....ummm....reckless?
She actively supports and defends CAF and the carnage...writing posts about it in fact. To support an animal abusing lying thief is her right, but so too is it mine to point it out.
Maybe that's not the right word... I don't see that she is defending Jenna. I don't see that they are anything alike or do anything in remotely the same way. I just like OFG and think Jenna is a Loon.
Way back when she created this story about a witch hunt of sorts comparing myself and others to a bunch of mean girls picking on Jenna. It was kind of bizzare.
Seems to me you are witch hunting a lot of people that don't deserve it. The woman and her son that needed a car lift and anyone that doesn't publicly hit Jenna over the head with a baseball bat. You seem just as prone to "exaggeration" as Jenna. The apple video is a good example. You seem to twist a lot of simply simple comments and videos to state so much more than what she stated.
Maybe she is making fun of her??!!
