I'm on my own farm sitting the alpacas, yaks, dogs, poultry, and cats during our first severe winter storm of the year.
I brought my 3 dogs and we are all hunkered down.
Everything shorter than 2 feet that could get lost in the snow has been moved. Hay troughs, rubber feed buckets, etc.
I think this is the yaks first snow. Excited to see then frolic.
We may get 2 feet in the next 48 hours.
What about you?
There's only supposed to be a little snow in my area, if any. I'm grateful. Hope you don't get buried/lose power.
ReplyDeleteHow are the yaks coming along-- I believe you said you were getting them used to being handled?
Stay warm and safe..take pics if you can :) No snow over this way,,
