I found my direction in the midst of missing my old garden. The vegetable garden was an excuse for zinnias and sunflowers.
A joint sunflower venture between the alpaca farm and myself has been plowed.

ReplyDeleteThere are some great books about flower farming on Amazon, "The Flower Farmer" is probably the best. You could also try contacting Steve and Gretl Adams of Sunny Meadow Flower Farm, they started a few years ago with a couple acres and have developed a substantial business in organically grown local flowers.
